Wonderful Portable Radio!, I traveled on the bike at 14 states, including western Canada and Alaska and I used the Sangean ATS-606AP depth radio. This is an ideal radio for travel and fits in my saddlebags. Radio AM / FM tuner to pull in stations very weak and the president makes a great noise, but with good base and clear midrange. I recommend this little radio for travelers. I pushed hard enough on the radio in the last two summers, and I was impressed with its reliability. One small complaint …. I would have given a rating of 5 stars, if only Sangean was better to put a volume dial it. The dial, they installed one of those cheap dail where dirt accumulates on the switch and you hear static when turning the wheel - not good for the price of the radio. You can fix this buy turning the volume up and down several times with the radio, do every time a moment and the reallocation of volumes should serve well. I went with a friend and had to install a quality control Radio Tech volume and now the radio is perfect! It 'still well worth the price.
