Many Sony Home Theaters Don’t Have Picture Zoom, Many home theater systems with DVD player, can not have a zoom function for playing movies. Are not able to black lines at the top and bottom of widescreen movies formatted decline. So it is better from this receiver with speakers, then buy a separate DVD player of your choice.
Or simply connect it to your game system that plays DVDs. Or connect to your computer, if your soundcard has an optical output. Use it to play Doom 3/Unreal Tournament!
We believe your ears when playing audio CDs. This Sony system significantly improves the quality of my audio CDs, especially if you use options, like Hall, Jazz, etc.
